These are free, online and modular and aim to offer the tools and knowledge to enable sustainability considerations to be embedded within procurement and wider organisational processes. Free on-line training Carbon Literacy e-Learning Resource: A modular, on-line course that aims to provide the principles behind carbon management through procurement. There are three levels; users receive a certificate after passing the test at the end of each level. Ethical Procurement for Health e-Learning Resource: An on-line resource comprising of three e-learning modules that are based on the EPH workbook. It aims to provide a basic understanding of labour standards risks associated with the procurement of goods and services. Users receive a certificate after passing the test at the end of each level. Environmental Issues in Procurement e-Learning: A single-module, awareness course aiming to provide a basic understanding of environmental issues and how these are relevant to procurement. National Sustainable Public Procurement Courses for the NHS and Central Government Sustainable Procurement training (delivered by WRAP): A series of e-learning modules for key procurement categories designed to inform procurers on how to sustainably procure products and services. Along with an introductory module, the following categories are covered: Information, Communication and Technology; Construction and Major Refurbishment Projects; Furniture; Textiles; and Re-use and Remanufacturing. Staff engagement resources Saving lives, saving money, securing the future (staff engagement resource part of SDU’s Leadership, Engagement and Development) Additional materials to engage the workforce Additional training providers (a charge may be applicable) Carbon Trust’s staff engagement and training options WRM - bespoke sustainable commissioning and procurement support, advice and training Timber Procurement Policy Training (delivered by CPET): Tutor-led, half-day workshops that explain the UK government’s Timber Procurement Policy and how to implement it during the tender process.
