CISL leadership programme

What is the Sustainability Leadership Programme?

The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and the Sustainable Development Unit have developed a Sustainability Leadership Programme for the Healthcare Sector which is delivered twice a year.

It provides high level workshops, master classes and networks for health sector leaders internationally.

The Programme’s overall objectives are to:

  1. Bring together health sector leaders involved in large scale change to share the knowledge, policy context and skills necessary to deliver a sustainable future health system
  2. To share across organisational and international boundaries the potential solutions to the challenges faced by health care organisations and professionals
  3. To create networks and alumni of operational, strategic and thought leaders in sustainable healthcare
  4. The core element of this programme, designed by the SDU and the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, is to provide an intensive two-day workshop, with 30 senior participants from the health, public health and social care sector. Learning is enhanced through provision of pre-reading materials.
