Communications role at UK Health Alliance on Climate Change

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change is seeking applications for a motivated, hard-working, and professional individual with strong project management and communications skills to act as its Communications Officer. 

They will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including the implementation of the Alliance’s advocacy efforts, supporting its engagement with media, and executing its external communications strategy.

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change brings together Britain’s leading health institutions, representing some 600,000 health professionals, to advocate for an accelerated response to climate change.

The Members of the Alliance include a range of Royal Medical and Nursing colleges, the Royal Society of Medicine, the British Medical Association, The Lancet, the Faculties of Public Health and of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and the British Medical Journal. They have come together to communicate the relationship between health and climate change to government and the health profession.
