A more sustainable system needs staff, service users and the public to understand the reasons for taking action and to be actively involved in the redesign of the system to ensure it is fit for the future. Embedding sustainability into everyday practices requires long-term culture change achieved by committed leadership and system-wide engagement.

This area is divided into three parts that focus on:

  2. Engagement
  3. Developing a workforce fit for the future
