David Pencheon's BMJ's Blog

Make things fun - that's one of the best ways to engage with people and to inspire action, according to David Pencheon's most recent blog.

The SDU Director reflects on the rules of people engagement in his latest BMJ Blog.

David considers the findings from a paper by assistant professor Dror Etzion (Desautels Faculty of Management) called Sustainability by Stealth: four ways to make sustainability more attractive.

David has expanded Prof. Etzion's work to cover both sustainable development and climate change and considers the benefits and pitfalls of various techniques such as finger wagging and haranguing through to positivity and making people laugh.
